Urethane-bonded pistons
Our urethane-bonded pistons are produced using a well-researched urethane compound that has good mechanical properties and outstanding resistance to tearing, abrasion, and extrusion. This piston's bonded design gives it the strength to withstand drilling pressures of up to 7,500 psi (51.7 MPa) and the ability to withstand wear and tear over thousands of operating cycles. Our piston's core is made of a high quality alloy steel that is stronger and more resistant to chemicals than other materials used in this industry. Our typical bonded-polyurethane piston can operate up to 200 °F, which is the maximum operating temperature. Operating pressures for these standard pistons are up to 7,500 psi (51.7 MPa).
